NS Healthcare Hero: Shelby Obrien

Id like to nominate Shelby Obrien. Shelby is a new mother and a paramedic for 7 years in Sydney Nova Scotia. She grew up in Sydney forks and embraces and loves everything about Cape Breton life.

She is the most caring person in the world. She is a wonderful mother to her daughter Maia and her beautiful dog Lou. She is one of the best paramedics Ive ever met.

Shelby enjoys being outside on her days off, hiking, camping, farming and growing her flowers. Shelbys happiness is contagious and oozes out and consumes who ever she is around. She brings up peoples moods just by entering a room.

Shelby is a dedicated healthcare worker and her favourite thing to do around the holidays is volunteer for the Christmas stuff a truck event. I hope she can be recognized for her amazing attitude and efforts everyday.
