NS Healthcare Hero: Danielle Pyke

Danielle is a kind and compassionate sweet heart originally from Richmond County. Shes a continuing care worker for the Macleod Group nursing home in Port Hawkesbury. People say how much of a caring and kind professional worker she is and that she goes above and beyond and even on her days off is always wondering about the residents in her group, and for that we are very thankful.

Danielle looks after and cares for others and we think she would be a good recipient of this award. The pandemic has played its toll on the healthcare workers and its residents but Danielle has not let that hinder her ability to go in to work and give it her all every day. Even with all the restrictions she makes her residents feel loved and reassured.
